Taking into consideration the results of Kozloduy NPP activity throughout the years, the power plant has become a determining factor for the stability of the national energy system. Nowadays, Kozloduy NPP is the major electricity generating company in Bulgaria.
The power plant provides more than one third of the annual national electricity generation while meeting all the safety requirements for the operation of the nuclear facilities and having zero negative impact on the environment. The excellent performance indicator values of Kozloduy NPP confirm the high level of reliability, safety and efficiency of the electricity generation process.
