House of Culture

With its manifold activities in the field of art and culture and over its 35-year history, the House of Culture has been an attractive cultural centre for Kozloduy citizens and guests. Built on an area of 4,000 sq. m., it has modern and well-maintained facilities thus providing very good conditions for conducting conferences, workshops, showing exhibitions, etc.

The House of Culture stages concerts, ballets, show programmes, and theatrical performances for children and adults. The House of Culture is also an art corner, where paintings from power plant collections and multiple visiting exhibitions are on display throughout the year.

The House of Culture attracts the citizens of the town of Kozloduy and Kozloduy municipality with its diverse opportunities for training and creative work such as: piano music school for children, art studio, folk dance groups "Atomik", "Izvorche" and "Taralezhcheta", ballet "Irisi" and children's ballet ensemble, amateur theatre group, children's theatre school and vocal group "Robinson". The lessons take place under the following conditions. The quality of training and the high merits of the works of art are recognised by multiple awards from national and international competitions and by the numerous invitations for visits and tours received form the country and abroad.

What we have

  • Auditorium – with 470 seats, equipped with a sound system, stage illumination, and a grand piano;
  • Small auditorium  – with 100 seats. There is a possibility for a sound system installation and mobile arrangement of seats. It contains paintings of famous artists providing a nice creative environment;
  • Chamber hall – with 50 seats, small stage and a grand piano;
  • Lobby – with exhibition panels of 6 sq. m. each.

For cultural initiatives (theatre performances, concerts, art exhibitions, etc.), the premises and technical means may be rented under the following conditions.
